The Third French general election was held on 2nd June 2020 to elect all 528 members of the National Assembly

Amets Aritza's PCF lost seats for the first time since the elections to the National Assembly began, but still achieved solid plurality. Larry David's The Republicans gained 32 seats, enough to place them in second place. Saphron Cotta-Arc's LFI gained 4 seats, enough to keep them in 3rd, while RGoldF's National Rally lost 14 seats, shunting them down to 4th. The Socialist Party went from 40 seats to 11, LREM gained 3 seats to 12, and the Democratic Movement continued its second consecutive loss, with only one seat in the National Assembly. Independents gained 7 seats this election.
