The Distant Past[]

Philip II, 'The Bold,' was the Duke of the Burgundian Realm from 1363-1404 and the count-spousal of the County of Flanders. In this he was the spiritual successor of the Kings of Lotharangia. He was known as a very proud man; who's domain surpassed that of the French Kings. Despite dejure being a lord of French land, he was an independent monarch in his own right. During the era of the council of Regents; Phillip as well as the respectable dukes of Berry and Anjou, reigned as regent over France as part of a triumvirate.

Death and Aftermath[]

In 1404 Philip died in Halle, Hainaut of now Belgium; the exact reasons are unknown. But less than a century after his death the Duchy of Burdgundy would fall apart as a result of a succession crisis that arose from the death of Charles, also 'The Bold.'

Present Day[]

Due to unknown reasons, Philip's Tomb was burgled in May of 2020. Shortly after, a man appeared in Burgundian politics, dressed in traditional French noble attire. He claimed to be Phillip II and tiraded against the oppression of Paris and the central powers of the other territories in France.

The First Assembly Election[]

During the first assembly election, 'Philip the Bold' took control of the French Communist Party. He lead the youth and the disenfranchised of the country into a landslide victory in the first election. In a seven hour speech, dressed in knightly attire, he made a mockery of the assembly and spat at the French flag, in an act of defiance.

The Second Assembly Election[]

During the second assembly election, 'Philip the Bold' resigned in favor of Ametz Aritza. His party won 280 seats.
