John Bercow is a former leading politician (formerly Labour Party) and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, assuming office for the first time after a victory for the Labour Party in the Forty Sixth United Kingdom general election and for the second time after a vote introduced by Mairi Gougeon. He lead the first instance of two Labour-SNP Coalition Governments, becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer in the second coalition under his colleague and close party ally, Bob Mcbobbins


After Labour's defeat in the Forty Eighth United Kingdom general election, Bercow became the Leader of the Opposition, but later relinquished both his seat in Parliament as well as the role of Party Leader.

On January 31st 2021, Bercow was elected Speaker of the House of Commons.
