The Democratic Socialist Party is a major political party in the United Kingdom and the Largest by Parliamentary and Party Membership. It is currently led by Remco de Jong; who has led the party since Comrade Koupetorska's Resignation in January 2020.

Disillusioned with the party leadership, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire MP and former Foreign Secretary Michael Foot, broke away with the Labour and launch a new left-wing political force - Democratic Socialist Party. The party was founded on 1/04/2020

Soon after, Foot's friend and fellow MP for Durham, Michael Fallon, joined the party. The two MPs stood in the 49th GE and retained their seats. After the elections, the party became part of a broad left-wing coalition with Labour, SNP and SDP that took power and elected the Mcbobbins ministry. Michael Foot returned to Number 10 as Home secretary.

The party managed to double its seats in the 50th GE and gain a second-best result, just two seats behind Labour. Michael Foot became Chancellor in the Second Mcbobbins ministry and Michael Fallon headed the Home office.

Under the leadership of Mary Wilson, the party was propelled to electoral success, reaching 42 seats in the 10/09/20 General Election. The party soon went into government, with the bill putting Wilson into Number 10 possessing a 39-vote lead.
