Comrade Koupetorska is the Leader of the Democratic Socialist Party, following the resignation of long-time Leader Rebecca Long-Bailey. He was elected on 21 November 2020. He is also a part-time writer for Politico.

Koupetorska's most well-known bill is the Salvador Allende Act, which condemns the numerous interventions of the US state in Central and South American nations. The bill passed through the House of Commons on 12 September 2020 by a margin of 11 votes. Koupetorska, along with former Conservative leader Winston Lee Thatcher and former Labour leader Paul Eastchase suspended parliament during the infamous 83th General Election, where seats were not awarded correctly. Finally, Comrade Koupetorska is seen by many as the architect of the DSP-Labour Coalition that took over parliament in the 85th General Election. As a journalist for Politico Comrade Koupetorska has unraveled many different scandals regarding the Conservative Party, which brought massive changes to the political landscape of the United Kingdom. He brought to light the firing of Shadow Secretary Viktor Svenska MP QC by Julia Tress for his opposition to Trident, and brought on the greatest scandal in UK history by revealing the fraudulent voting that took place to elect Katie Spector. He has been described as "a true investigative journalist", while he was named 4th most important politician in the United Kingdom by Politico.
