This is a Beginner's Guide for Respublica, it will help you become more familiar with the features of the game and win your first election.
Home page[]
After you create your politician, you will be directed to your profile/home page where you'll find information about your politician. When you first start out, you won't be a member of a political party, so you'll be registered as an Independent.
The top navigation bar has four tabs; Profile, [Current nation], World, and More.
Profile[]
Profile is where you can see your politician's current statistics, the current seat you hold (if any), the join date of the account, whether the user is online or not, options to message and send Campaign Funds (CF), the user's country, region and party they are in, economic and social stances, state influence, national influence, campaign funds, and liquid capital, an optionally shown 8-Values graph and a support graph.
Messages is where you will get notifications when other players message you, as well as the messages you send to others: Inbox and Outbox
Actions is where you can:
Advertise - which increases your state influence by 0.5% per advertising multiplier.
Build Donor Base - which increases your hourly Campaign Funds Income(which is taxed if a party has a tax rate) by $1,000.
Transfer Liquid Capital - which will change Liquid Capital into Campaign Funds.
Party will direct you to your party's home page (if you are in one).
Settings is where you can set your profile description (beliefs, bios, prior offices etc.), your economic and social positions, link an 8-Values chart (with a link below to the site) and link your discord account.
Note: Linking a discord is required to vote for party chairs, sending campaign funds, and sending attack ads
Sub-Accounts will allow you to make one politician per nation and change between your politicians.
Nation[]
Details is a link to the nation's home page.
Map gives you a link to the nation map (only works with the German, U.S. and UK maps. France does not have a map page).
Parties takes you to the list of all parties of the nation you are in.
Lower House & Upper House takes you to the lower and upper chambers of the legislatures. You will get notified if there is an unread bill.
Home Region takes you to the current region you reside in.
World[]
World shows a list of links to all nations home pages
More[]
Shows links to the discord, the in-game wiki, the community wiki(this one), a logo submission area and a list of users online.
While On Other Politician pages[]
Attack Ads[]
When you view the profile of another user, you can select the Actions tab. There, you can spend your campaign funds to reduce their state influence by 1% per attack ad. There is a risk you can lose a SI point if your attack ad fails.
User's State Influence | Cost of attack add |
---|---|
100% | $100,000 |
90.5% | $90,500 |
90% | $90,000 |
etc... |
Influence[]
There are three types of Influence on your profile page: State Influence (SI), Political Influence (PI), and National Influence (NI).
Your primary concern should be raising your SI by at least 0.5% to get into an election. If you do not have a minimum of 0.5% SI then you will be bugged out of getting the seat.
Increasing SI gives you boosts to running in elections, and coupled with Party Regional Influence, will help you win seats against other players.
Regional Influence is raised by spending Campaign Funds (CF) and Political Influence
Political Influence is generated passively, and the number of it that is generated is dependent on your current elected position, your current party position, any former important positions and your party's popularity.
Elections[]
Elections are how you get into office. The following table is a list of elections and the time between them:
Election | Time between Elections |
---|---|
United States of America | |
President of the United States | 2 weeks (1 week to the next election's primary signup closes) |

Russia | |

Primaries[]
Governors, Senators, Minister Presidents, French Senators, and presidential elections all have primaries, meaning that if two members of the same party enter the election, then they will have to "campaign" to win it. House of Representatives, House of Commons the Bundestag, French Assembly, the National People's Congress and the State Duma don't have primaries, with the House of Representatives and the House of Commons have single seats to be elected to, while the Bundestag the French Assembly, the NPC and the Duma are elected proportionally.
FAQs[]
- How do I earn income? It's earned every hour. There is a base of 15,000 Liquid Capital(LC) that you earn regardless. Spending Campaign Funds(CF) in the Actions tab will allow you to increase its base by $1,000 per click.
- How do I win elections? You will need at least 0.5% to win a seat. To beat other players you'll need a combination of State Influence (SI) and Party Influence (PI) to achieve a larger score than your opponent, which is reflected in the percentage you see during the election.
- What does Cabinet/Head of State do? Those positions are largely ceremonial, with the exception of the President of the United States, who can sign and veto legislation passed by both chambers of the United States Congress.
- I have millions of dollars, what can I do with it? You can run a newspaper, boost your party's influence, send it to people as gifts(if it's CF). You can't send Liquid Capital without first converting it to CF.
- How do you be come a Senator in Russia? The governor of the region has to appoint you, there are no elections to the Upper House.
